Handcrafted
Glowbus® products — particularly the Dewdrop and Growdrop ranges — are designed and produced in Belgium, and the term “handcrafted” refers to the significant manual craftsmanship involved in their creation.
Each piece is made from high-quality corten steel, and while certain elements of the shaping process are supported by precision machinery (for consistency and structural integrity), the finishing, assembly, welding, grinding, and detailing are all carried out by skilled artisans by hand. No two pieces are exactly alike, and every fire pit undergoes a manual quality check to ensure the sculptural aesthetic and finish meet the brand’s exacting standards.
So while modern tools are used to assist with some raw processing, the final form, finish, and feel are shaped by human hands, in line with traditional metalworking principles. This aligns with the brand's core values of durability, artistry, and authenticity.
Craftsmanship & Process
Core shaping is produced with assistance from precision machinery—laser-cutting and forming—to ensure consistent quality.
However, every piece is manually refined by skilled artisans: welding, grinding, polishing, and detailed assembly are all completed by hand, adding each item’s unique character
Final inspection, quality checks, and finishing are performed manually to meet Glowbus®’s artistic standards, meaning no two pieces are identical
"All my life, I have been fascinated by fire and artistic construction. I am sharing this passion with the world through the Glowbus®collection. It gives me pleasure, every day, to experience the gratitude of customers who are discovering and enjoying this new world of fire. Being part of that is a privilege I cherish. It inspires me to continue expanding the collection and the entire experience surrounding it."
