Glowbus® Dewdrop Shield – Ultimate Under‑Foot Protection
The Glowbus® Dewdrop Shield is an engineered, heat-resistant blanket designed to protect delicate surfaces beneath your Dewdrop fire sculpture - offering safety, style, and peace of mind.
Dewdrop Shield is available in black colour and completely manufactured from fire resistant and fire retarding materials.
It can withstand permanent temperatures up to 500°C / 930°F.
When combined with the same size of Dewdrop (M, L or XL), the Dewdrop Shield is 5 cm (1.97 inch) smaller than the Dewdrop ash plate. Because of this, the Dewdrop Shield will remain invisible.
Dewdrop Shield offers a heat resistant barrier under the Dewdrop fire sculpture, specifically for vulnerable undergrounds such as certain types of natural stone, hardwood, or temporary use on
the lawn.
The measured temperature under the ash plate of the Dewdrop can run up to around 340°C / 644°F (326°C / 615°F measured after 2 hours) in an intensive fire session of more than 1 hour.
With the placement of the Dewdrop Shield, the temperature of the underground is lowered to around 50°C / 122°F with normal use. With intensive use, the surface temperature can run up to an average measured result of 77°C / 171°F.
